Whats wrong with Michigan football??
For all the skeptics, the easist answer is "they suck." In reality thats not that case. USC, Florida, Texas, or LSU couldnt have won those games if they made the flawed mistakes that Michigan made. You cant stop people from scoring if you are out of position, try to arm tackle, or try to strip the ball from a strong ball carrier. The runner just ran for 4 yards by the time you got there, dont give them 5-10 more because they are still going forward and all you want to do is make them fumble. Linebackers and defensive backs have been out of position in both games. Either there is a player you are supposed to guard or there is a zone that you are supposed to defend. If you go after the wrong player or allow someone into your zone and get out of position then the defense is no longer in control and the offense can do whatever they want. Thats halfway how you lose 2 home games you are supposed to not only win but dominate. At the end of the day Michigan had to replace a lot of veteran players on defense with new unproven players. what can you expect? Last time i checked no player in recent history has played 3 years of division 1 football without losing a game. you win some, you lose some. The main goal is to beat the other team and if that doesnt happen, you want to be in a situation where the other team beats you as opposed to you beating yourself. Sometimes the other team is just better but that doesnt happen often when you lead the nation in all time wins and winning percentage and are top 10 every single year in recruiting.

The Circus Created by Sports Media...
I dont get to watch EVERY single game that comes on TV because sometimes i have better things to do like wash my hair or clean my golf clubs but apparently the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship last night. Thats awesome. Really it is, because last time i checked they havent even won the Eastern Conference finals against the Pistons. yes, they have won the last 3 games and yes lebron scored 48 points and 29 out of 30 at one point but its only one game. just 4 games earlier the media was ripping lebron for not taking the last shot in the game and all of a sudden one week later they are redesigning the nba logo after him instead of jerry west. seriously, its one freaking game. i hope he can power his way past tayshaun prince. the guy is a toothpick. i hope he can power his way past rip hamilton, who is still nursing his broken nose from jr high. even if they close out the series, guess what? they still havent won it all yet because the almighty san antonio spurs are up next. good luck scoring 30 with bruce bowen guarding you so close that you think he is inside your jock. yes, bowen will play a little dirty... i mean crafty. can you handle all those non-calls we are about to see? i doubt it. which one of your teammates is going to stop tony parker from driving the lane at will and who is going to stop Duncan? yes duncan might score 14 points but at the end of the night it feels like 34 points. lebron still hasnt won anything but the media such as espn, cant seem to get off his jock. its one game. if he wins the championship then lets think about putting him on a postage stamp but right now, you dont get recognition for winning 3 games in the conference finals. jordan scored 60 some odd points against the celtics one year but did they win the series? no. was it a great scoring display? yes. but lets not forget detroit couldnt hit a 3 pointer to save their life and only lost by 2. its not like cleveland dominated anything. teams only dominate and win by 2 in baseball and soccer NOT basketball.

Is The King really a king?
So last night i check the Cavs-Pistons score 3 times and each time the Cavs are in control. Do they win? No, the Cavs only score 26 points in the second half of the Eastern Conference Finals! Is there an outrage over that fact? No. People only want to talk about the 2 points they were "robbed" of when no foul was called on LeBron James' potential game winner in the closing moments. Was there contact? Yes, but there is contact on EVERY possession in the NBA but the refs are not going to blow the whistle all game long. There could have been many fouls not called when the Pistons were attempting shots in the game but nobody seems to think of that. If lets says... Damon Jones would have taken that shot there wouldnt be full articles about it compared to LeBron James taking it. The writers would be talking about the Cavs choke job by only scoring 13 points in each of the final 2 quarters. Just after halftime Cleveland scores 2 whole points in the first 6 minutes. That is 1 made running jump shot to go with 5 missed jump shots and 3 turnovers. Nice job protecting the lead. Could they bend over anymore? Ever hear of attacking the basket? They went on make 4 more shots in the quarter with the closest one being 19 feet! Is that your game plan Mike Brown? Shoot yourself out of everygame? If so, dont plan on keeping that job for long because no ownership is going to waste LeBron's talent on a jump shooting team that has terrible coaching and gameplans. I hear both of the Van Gundys are unemployed. Do we honestly expect the Cavs to win the series? No, Detroit is a deep, physical team that plays on both ends of the floor. Cleveland has one superstar that has never won anything worth mentioning, who likes to shoot fadeaway jump shots and gets on ESPN for his fast break dunks. The Lakers are a better team than the Cavs, they just play in a better conference. Its only my view but its full of undisputable points.
